From Angers or Paris
In Angers, follow the indications south of Angers towards Poitiers. Continue until the exit of Brissac-Quincé.
At the roundabout take the D748 direction Notre-Dame-d’Allençon / Vihiers and continue another 22 km.
At the entrance of Montilliers, turn right, signposted “Valanjou” D169. Continue for about 1.5km, cross a river.
Just after, turn left direction “Le Voide” and then left again at the next crossroad direction “Vihiers”.
Continue another 1km until the next farm on the left.
The Gaucherie is indicated by a sign. Go down the hills crossing a first farm continuing between two large pillars, you are at La Gaucherie aux Dames. The Guest House is right in front of you. Welcome!
From Cholet or Nantes:
In Cholet, follow the direction Saumur then Vihiers.
Arriving in Vihiers, take the direction Le Voide (first exit of Vihiers bypass). Continue for about 2 km.
In Vihiers, turn left after Château de Maupassant to “le Voide”. You should be next to the river “Le Lys”
Follow along the river and follow as it forks to the right (the road to La Voide turns left).
Continue along the river about 3 km.
The road goes up before going into a small woods; just at the exit of the woods, the entry for the Gaucherie aux Dames is on the right.
Cross the first farm. You will then pass between two large pillars and you will have arrived.
From Saumur or Doué-la-Fontaine:
At Saumur or Doué-la Fontaine, follow direction Cholet.
At the roundabout at the entrance of Vihiers, go straight towards Vihiers (old national road).
Continue straight on the national road. Do not turn to Montilliers!
At the roundabout at the bottom of the hill, turn right towards Le Voide.
Follow this road that brings you to the edge of the river. Go along the river and take a right when the road separates, to follow the river.
Follow the river for another 3km. After a climb and a small woods, turn right.
Cross the first farm and go between two pillars. You have arrived, welcome!
